TRIAL FLYING LESSON VOUCHERS

 

We offer trial flying lessons which are intoductory flights into the world of piloting light aircraft.
Taking a lesson with one of experienced intsructors can open up a new world to you.

You can purchase one of these vouchers in advance  as that special gift for a friend or relative be it for a birthday or any special occaision.

on the day! 

On the day of your Trial Flying Lesson, you will need to telephone us before leaving home to check the weather. Assuming that's OK then check the map so you will know How to find Us,

When you arrive just telephone our contact number at the gate and we will come and meet you.

you will be shown a short video outlining the details of the flight, one of our experienced instructors will have a chat about what you will be doing, then we will provide you with a hi-viz vest and a headset. 

Having booked out with air traffic control, you will then go out to the aircraft with your Instructor. You will be shown the correct way to enter the aircraft and how to put on the seat belt. Once all safety checks are complete your instructor will start the engine, explaining the procedure to you, talk to ATC and request permission to taxy. Following a further check you are now ready to take off!

Using dual controls your Instructor will perform the take off, talking you through the process as you get airborne. Once away from the airport, the instructor will hand over control where you will fly the aircraft under their supervision.

BACK ON THE GROUND!

Following your flight you will return to the Clubhouse and receive your CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT 
This is a record of your flight with US, and at any time in the future it will count towards future flight training if you decide to continue.
You will then have an opportunity to have photographs taken receiving your Certificate.
