Students can benefit from a training environment that offers both hard and grass runways as well as full Air Traffic Control which serves to develop a pilots ability to the full. Student pilots training at Cambridge are well equipped to cope with flying elsewhere. Indeed, as part of the training course, students will fly to a variety of airfields including a cross channel trip to France!

The minimum requirements for gaining a PPL are:
45 hours flight time, of which 10 hours will be solo flying to include 5 hours of cross country navigation.

Navigation and Radio Aids
Meteorology
Aircraft General and Principles of Flight
Flight Performance and Planning
