Congratulations To Hannah Fogel, for landing a fantastic new job in Qatar. Hannah will be the first female ATC and we just know she'll be a perfect role model.
Hannah then applied for and was awarded the British Women Pilots 50th Anniversary Flying Bursary from the Air League Trust, which has enabled Hannah to gain her IMC rating and is currently receiving training from Mid-Anglia School of Flying If that wasnt enough, Hannah has now been given another award. This time from the Hilda Hewlett Trophy for Women in Aviation. The recipient of this award must be aged 22 or under, have a PPL and work in aviation.Congratulations to Hannah from everyone at Mid-Anglia School of Flying. She quickly became dedicated to aviation and helped out at the flying school during her spare time. Her enthusiasm eventually landed her a job with Cambridge Airport`s Air Traffic Control as a trainee ATC, and finally qualifying as an Air Traffic Controller.Later, in 2007, Hannah moved on to East Midlands Airport.
